24 Hours for Hank is a non-profit foundation dedicated to funding research for the rare genetic disease known as Cystinosis. In 2007, close friends of ours found out that their young son had been diagnosed with the disease which has fewer than 500 cases in the United States. Essentially, this means that pharmaceutical
companies are less willing to find a cure, because there is little chance of profit down the road.

24 Hours for Hank is bike race in Sandpoint, ID which occurred in September, 2008. In the Winter of 2009, there will be ski race at Schweitzer Mountain also raising money for the foundation; with the purpose of finding a cure.

We encourage all of our friends and partners to learn more about the disease and foundation at: www.24hoursforhank.org
